I. Checking out and building the needed modules:

 1) The python module is now installed with the "pip" command. It is
recommended that you have the Anaconda distribution installed. If
so then "pip" is part of that distribution.

    a) To just install the uedge module without having source do
       pip install uedge

    b) To install and have source do the following:
       pip download uedge
       tar -zxvf uedge.7.0.8.0.3.tgz
       cd uedge-7.0.8.0.3
       python setup.py build
       python setup.py install
       python setup.py test

 2) If you have access to the LLNL/FEP cvs archives, then

       setenv CVS_RSH=ssh
       setenv CVSROOT :ext:<login-name>@singe.llnl.gov:/usr/local/cvsroot
       cvs co uedge
       cd uedge
       python setup.py build
       python setup.py install
       python setup.py test
